Ingredients
- 4 c. potatoes, peeled, sliced and boiled tender
- 1 (16 oz.) carton of sour cream
- 6 slices of bacon, fried & crumbled
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. grated cheddar cheese
- margarine
- a little milk
- salt and pepper
Method
- Prepare potatoes like you were going to make mashed potatoes. Drain well when done; add sour cream, bacon, onion, a little margarine and a little milk.
- Stir in salt and pepper to taste; mash well.
- A few little lumps won't hurt.
- Pour into baking dish and top with cheese.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
