Ingredients

  • 3 to 4 lb. spareribs
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 or 3 onions, quartered
  • 1 (16 oz.) barbecue sauce or 2 c. homemade

Method

  • Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper.
  • Place ribs in broiler pan under broiler for 10 minutes on each side and remove excess fat. Put onions in crock-pot.
  • Slice ribs into serving pieces and put in crock-pot.
  • Pour barbecue sauce over ribs.
  • Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or high 4 to 6 hours.
