Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. spareribs
- salt and pepper
- 2 or 3 onions, quartered
- 1 (16 oz.) barbecue sauce or 2 c. homemade
Method
- Sprinkle ribs with salt and pepper.
- Place ribs in broiler pan under broiler for 10 minutes on each side and remove excess fat. Put onions in crock-pot.
- Slice ribs into serving pieces and put in crock-pot.
- Pour barbecue sauce over ribs.
- Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or high 4 to 6 hours.
