Ingredients

  • 1 c. sifted cake flour
  • 1/3 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 6 egg whites
  • 1 1/3 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 c. plain no-fat yogurt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. orange flavoring
  • powdered sugar

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Beat egg whites, brown sugar, yogurt and vanilla until well blended. Gradually add the mixed dry ingredients until moistened. Pour into 8-inch square pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray and dusted with flour. Bake at 350° for about 35 minutes. Cool pan on rack for 20 minutes. Put on plate and dust with powdered sugar. Serves 6.
