Ingredients
- 1 lb hamburger meat
- 1 lb Italian sausage, ground
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon italian seasoning
- 3 (28 ounce) jars spaghetti sauce
- 1 cup red wine
- 1 teaspoon anise
Method
- Brown hamburger and sausage with onion, garlic and mushrooms.
- Drain.
- Add remaining ingredients PLUS 2 jars of water.
- Cook partially uncovered for 3-4 hours until sauce cooks down to desired consistency, stirring frequently.
