Ingredients
- 3 1/2 c. warm water
- 4 Tbsp. yeast
- 1 1/2 c. milk
- 3/4 c. oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 5 lb. flour plain all-purpose
Method
- Mix yeast, warm water and sugar; let yeast dissolve.
- Stir to mix.
- Add milk, oil and eggs (beat first); mix well.
- Add 1/2 flour and salt; mix well.
- Add enough flour to make a dough not real stiff.
- Let rise for 1 hour or until double in bulk.
- Punch down.
- Knead in extra flour if needed.
- Roll out and cut into rolls or pinch in muffin pans.
- Let rise again for about 1 hour or until double in size.
- Bake at 350° until golden brown.
