Ingredients

  • 1 12 lbs lean ground beef
  • salt (to taste)
  • 12 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce) package Velveeta cheese, diced
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped fine
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 sandwich buns

Method

  • In a large skillet, brown ground beef, salt and pepper until thoroughly cooked.
  • Drain.
  • In a 3 1/2 to 4 quart crock pot, combine cooked ground beef and all remaining ingredients except buns; mix well.
  • Cover and cook on low setting for 6 hours.
  • To serve, spoon mixture onto sandwich buns.
