Ingredients

  • 1 - Pie Crust, Refrigerated
  • 8 - 10 MacIntosh Apples, peeled
  • 1/2 cup Regular Sugar
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 T Lemon Juice
  • 2 T Flour
  • Use a "deep" pie dish

Method

  • PreHeat oven 425 degrees. Prepare pie crust as directed on box. In large mixing bowl add peeled, chopped apples sprinkle all ingredients over apples and toss until mixture is evenly distributed. After pie pan is lined with pie crust, add apple mixture and cover pie with top crust. Make sure to puncture top of pie decoratively. Bake until golden brown approx. 35-40 minutes. (You may brush top of pie with milk and brown sugar mixture for browning.)
