Ingredients
- 1 pkg. wonton skins
- 1 lb. chop meat
- 4 scallions, minced
- 8 water chestnuts, minced
- 2 c. spinach (cover with boiling water for 1 minute, drain and mince)
- 1 small onion, minced
- 3 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1 egg, beaten (on side)
Method
- Mix together all ingredients except wonton skins and egg. Take each wonton skin, coat all 4 edges with egg.
- In center put about teaspoon filling.
- Fold over in triangle, sealing all edges, take both ends, dabbing one end with egg and fold together forming a "crown" or wonton.
- Make sure meat filling is firmly sealed within.
