Ingredients
- 5 bacon slices
- 1 large head leaf or Boston lettuce
- 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 1 1/2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of pepper
Method
- About 30 minutes before serving:
- In large skillet over medium heat, fry bacon slices until crisp.
- Drain on paper towels. Discard all but 1/4 cup bacon drippings from skillet.
