Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 head cabbage
- 2 chopped tomatoes
- vinegar
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
- 1 c. chopped onion
- salt and pepper
Method
- Fry bacon in skillet; remove bacon and add chopped cabbage to drippings.
- Cook until wilted down (about 5 minutes).
- Add chopped tomatoes, onion, celery and green pepper.
- Stir into cabbage and add two to three tablespoons vinegar.
- Salt and pepper to taste. Cook about 5 minutes.
