Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 large cloves garlic, chopped
  • 1 small dried hot pepper
  • 1 chicken bouillon cube
  • 1/4 c. tomato sauce or a good squeeze of tomato paste from a tube
  • 1 can Progresso cannellini beans (don't use any other brand, they're not as good)
  • pasta (I like to use a Ronzoni product called ditali or ditallini)

Method

  • You can use any kind of pasta you have at home (i.e., elbow macaroni, spaghetti, broken into little pieces or linguine same instructions, break up).
  • I use a handful per person.
