Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. water
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. cloves
  • 1 egg, beaten, plus enough milk to make 1/2 c.
  • 1 c. cherry pie filling
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 (1 lb.) can peaches (sliced), drained
  • 1 1/2 c. Bisquick

Method

  • Mix the first 6 ingredients into a 10-inch pan.
  • Heat and add peaches; bring to a boil.
  • Mix egg and water mix to Bisquick.
  • Stir into a soft dough.
  • Drop by teaspoons on top of boiling fruit. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
  • Stir softly.
  • Cover and cook 10 more minutes.
  • Serve warm with or without whipped topping.
  • Serves 8.
