Ingredients
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. cloves
- 1 egg, beaten, plus enough milk to make 1/2 c.
- 1 c. cherry pie filling
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 (1 lb.) can peaches (sliced), drained
- 1 1/2 c. Bisquick
Method
- Mix the first 6 ingredients into a 10-inch pan.
- Heat and add peaches; bring to a boil.
- Mix egg and water mix to Bisquick.
- Stir into a soft dough.
- Drop by teaspoons on top of boiling fruit. Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
- Stir softly.
- Cover and cook 10 more minutes.
- Serve warm with or without whipped topping.
- Serves 8.
