Ingredients
- 2 c. whole green peas (dried)
- 2 qt. water
- 1 Tbsp. summer savory
- 3 carrots, sliced
- 1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste
Method
- Simmer peas in water until almost cooked.
- Add savory, carrots and celery.
- Simmer until vegetables are tender.
- Add onion and tomato paste and simmer a few minutes longer.
