Ingredients
- 1 lb. beef (London broil)
- 5 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 5 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. grated gingerroot
- 2 c. beef broth
- 2 c. rice
- 1/4 c. oyster sauce
- 6 c. broccoli
- 1/4 c. water
Method
- Cut partially frozen steak across grain, diagonally, into thin slices.
- Cut slices in 1 1/2-inch strips.
- Combine 3 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 2 tablespoons oil and gingerroot.
- Stir in meat strips.
- Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours.
- Stir together broth, remaining 2 tablespoons soy sauce, remaining 2 tablespoons cornstarch and oyster sauce; set aside.
