Ingredients

  • 8 oz. lasagna noodles, uncooked
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 3/4 c. chopped onion
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. light cream
  • 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese, cubed
  • 1 1/2 c. Gouda cheese
  • 1/2 c. dry wine
  • 2 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (12 oz.) carton cottage cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 12 oz. Mozzarella cheese

Method

  • Cook ground beef, onions, celery and garlic.
  • Stir in basil, oregano, salt and dash of pepper.
  • Add cream and cream cheese. Cook over low heat until cheese melts.
  • Stir in wine.
  • Gradually add Gouda and Cheddar cheese.
  • Stir until melted.
