Ingredients
- 1 lb. navy beans
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 Tbsp. garlic (crushed or powder)
- 1/2 c. sharp cheese
- 1 large onion
- 2 cans chicken broth
- 1 can mild green chili peppers, chopped
- 1 jar mild or hot salsa
Method
- Cook beans covered with water and broth.
- Add chopped onion, garlic and butter.
- When
- almost done, add green chili peppers. When done, serve in individual bowls.
- Cover with grated cheese and several spoons of salsa.
- May add a cup of diced chicken.
