Ingredients
- 1 c. grits
- 4 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 stick butter
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 2 eggs
- milk
- paprika
- garlic salt
Method
- Bring water to boil, add grits slowly and cook 3 to 5 minutes. Remove from stove; add salt, garlic to taste (sparingly), cheese and butter.
- Beat eggs in a one-cup measure and fill cup to top with milk.
- Add to grits.
- Place in casserole; sprinkle paprika on top.
- Bake at 375° for 45 minutes.
