Ingredients

  • 13 cups tomato puree
  • 4 cups onions
  • 2 23 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1 14 cups vegetable oil
  • 4 ounces Worcestershire sauce
  • 13 cup salt
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 10 12 ounces brown sugar
  • 1 ounce dry mustard
  • 1 ounce liquid smoke

Method

  • You can either use tomato Puree or Tomato sauce.
  • You should puree the onions, but the recipe is good with them minced as well.
  • Sautee the onions in the vegetable oil, then mix all ingredients and simmer 3-4 hours.
  • You can Put it up in canning jars, process for 30 minutes and this will keep for up to 1 year.
