Ingredients
- 2 c. whole milk
- 3/4 c. cornmeal
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 eggs, separated
- 2 tsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Scald milk in saucepan (do not boil); remove from heat.
- Add cornmeal, whisking constantly until lump free, add butter; cool.
- When sufficiently cool, add egg yolks.
