Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 4 Tbsp. vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. water
- 1 Tbsp. butter
Method
- Separate yolk from
- white
- in the 3 eggs.
- In saucepan, blend sugar and
- flour.
- Add
- water slowly.
- Add egg yolks and butter. Stir quickly
- over low
- heat until smooth and thick. Remove from heat.
- Add vinegar in a slow stream, while beating with heavy spoon.
- Spoon mixture in 8-inch baked pie shell and top with meringue.
