Ingredients
- 2 lb. venison
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 6 c. boiling water
- 4 medium potatoes, diced
- 4 carrots, diced
- 2 turnips, diced
- 4 onions, diced
Method
- Cut the venison into 1-inch cubes.
- Roll in flour and brown in a small amount of oil.
- Add the boiling water and black pepper to the browned meat.
- Cover and simmer for 2 to 3 hours.
- Add the diced vegetables and simmer until tender. Use 2 tablespoons of flour moistened with water to thicken the remaining liquid.
