Ingredients
- 1 c. (2 sticks) butter
- 8 oz. Velveeta cheese, chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 (16 oz.) pkg. confectioners sugar
- 1/2 c. cocoa
- chopped pecans (optional)
Method
- Melt butter and cheese in saucepan over low heat or in microwave 30 seconds.
- Mix in vanilla.
- Pour over mixture of confectioners sugar and cocoa in bowl.
- Mix quickly until smooth. Spread in buttered 9 x 13-inch pan; pat pecans over top.
- Let stand until set; cut into squares.
- Yields 3 pounds.
