Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 3 c. milk chocolate chips
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 c. chopped Macadamia nuts

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Line buttered baking sheets with buttered waxed paper.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the flour and baking powder. In a large bowl, beat together the eggs, sugars, vanilla and almond extracts.
  • Add the flour mixture.
  • Stir in the milk chocolate chips and chopped Macadamia nuts.
  • Use 1 tablespoon dough for each cookie.
  • Drop them 1-inch apart on prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • Makes 4 dozen.
