Ingredients

  • 250 grams corn kernels fresh
  • 1/2 cup beans cooked
  • 1 tomato medium, diced
  • 2 tablespoons onion finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • salt and ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chile flakes may substitute cayenne
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds toasted

Method

  • Place the beans, tomato, and onion into a bowl.
  • Whisk together the vinegar, olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, chile, and mustard together in a separate bowl. Add to the beans.
  • Sprinkle with the sesame seeds and mix together to coat evenly.
  • Set aside for 1 hour at room temperature before serving.
