Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. extra lean ground beef
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can beef broth (not condensed)
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/3 c. quick cooking barley
Method
- In large saucepan, brown ground beef; drain.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat to medium, cover and cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until vegetables and barley are tender, stirring occasionally.
- Makes 4 (1 1/2-cup) servings.
