Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb. white sugar
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 1/4 c. evaporated milk
- 1/4 lb. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Method
- Combine sugar, syrup, milk and butter.
- Cook on medium heat to a firm ball stage. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and beat until it loses its glossy appearance. Put on greased plates and cool. Cut into squares.
- Yields 2 pounds.
