Ingredients
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 c. cream
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 2 c. cream
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
Method
- Combine sugar, flour and salt in saucepan.
- Add 2 cups cream. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Cook 2 additional minutes.
- Add small amount of hot mixture to eggs, then return all to pan; cook, stirring, 1 minute more.
- Remove from heat, add remaining 2 cups cream and vanilla.
- Chill thoroughly.
- You can add chopped fresh fruit when it goes into the freezer.
