Ingredients
- 1 c. corn syrup
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 1 c. pecans, halves or chopped
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Method
- Mix filling ingredients together, adding nuts last.
- Pour into unbaked shell.
- Bake at 400° for 15 minutes, then at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes longer.
- When pie is done, outer edge of filling is set and center is slightly soft.
- When cool, serve plain, or topped with whipped cream or ice cream.
