Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. chickpeas
- 1 garlic clove, crushed
- 4 Tbsp. sesame paste (tahini)
- 1/4 c. fresh lemon juice
- dash of salt
- 1/4 tsp. olive oil
- 1/2 c. water
- parsley (to decorate)
Method
- Rinse chickpeas under cold water; mash in a bowl.
- Add garlic, sesame and lemon juice and stir until smooth.
- Chill.
- Serve on flat plate with Syrian bread.
