Ingredients

  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 can cherry pie filling

Method

  • Melt butter in loaf pan.
  • Blend flour, sugar and baking powder in bowl.
  • Blend
  • eggs
  • in milk and make batter of flour and sugar mixture.
  • Pour
  • batter in loaf pan with butter, then add the can of
  • cherry
  • pie filling and bake at 400° for 40 to 45 minutes or until
  • toothpick inserted in crust comes out dry.
  • Serve in the loaf pan, to be dipped into bowls.
