Ingredients
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/3 c. margarine or butter, melted
- 15 oz. pkg. Pillsbury pie crusts
- 1 tsp. flour
- 6 c. (6 medium) sliced, peeled apples
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
Method
- Heat oven to 375°. In 9 inch pie pan, combine pecans, brown sugar and margarine; spread evenly over bottom of pan. Prepare pie crust according to package directions for two-crust pie, placing bottom crust over pecan mixture in pan.
