Ingredients

  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/3 c. margarine or butter, melted
  • 15 oz. pkg. Pillsbury pie crusts
  • 1 tsp. flour
  • 6 c. (6 medium) sliced, peeled apples
  • 1/4 c. sugar
  • 2 tbsp. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Method

  • Heat oven to 375°. In 9 inch pie pan, combine pecans, brown sugar and margarine; spread evenly over bottom of pan. Prepare pie crust according to package directions for two-crust pie, placing bottom crust over pecan mixture in pan.
