Ingredients

  • 4 ounces sliced cooked turkey breast
  • 1 (8-inch) whole wheat pita round, halved
  • 2 tablespoons commercial oil-free Italian dressing
  • 2 (3/4-ounce) slices nonfat process Cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped tomato
  • 1/2 cup alfalfa sprouts

Method

  • Place half of turkey in each pita half; spoon dressing evenly over turkey. Place 1 cheese slice in each pita half. Wrap pitas in foil, and bake at 400° for 5 to 8 minutes or until cheese melts. Sprinkle pitas evenly with tomato, and top with alfalfa sprouts.
