Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1 1/2 c. milk
  • 3/4 c. Bisquick baking mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese or processed American cheese

Method

  • Heat oven to 400°.
  • Grease a 10 x 1 1/2-inch pie plate.
  • Brown beef and onion; drain.
  • Stir in salt and pepper.
  • Spread in pie plate.
  • Beat milk, Bisquick and eggs until smooth, 15 seconds in blender or 1 minute on high with hand mixer.
  • Pour over meat mixture in pie plate.
  • Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until knife inserted comes out clean.
  • Cool 5 minutes.
  • Cut into 6 to 8 servings.
