Ingredients
- 1 can (15 oz.) salmon
- 1 egg
- 1 heaping Tbsp. baking powder
- 1/2 c. flour, sifted
Method
- Pour juice off salmon.
- Set aside.
- Use fork to mix salmon and egg well.
- Add flour; mix thoroughly.
- Mix 1/4 of salmon juice with baking powder.
- Beat with fork.
- (This will foam; if doesn't, baking powder is old.)
- Blend into salmon mixture.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls into deep fryer 1/2 full of oil. Meat is
- done when it rises to the top.
- Drain on paper towels.
