Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 c. flour
  • 1 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 3/4 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. chocolate chips
  • 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
  • 1 1/2 c. caramel ice cream topping

Method

  • Heat oven to 375°. Mix 1 1/2 cups flour and next 3 ingredients. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly. Reserve 3/4 cup and put rest in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and reduce heat to 350°. Sprinkle nuts and chips over partially baked layer. Combine 1/4 cup flour and caramel. Drizzle over chips and nuts. Sprinkle reserved crumbs over caramel mixture. Bake 20 minutes. Cool and cut.
