Ingredients
- 4 c diced, peeled turnips
- 3 Tbsp. oleo
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. shredded carrot
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
Method
- In saucepan, bring 1-inch of water to a boil.
- Add turnips; cook until tender, about 20 minutes.
- Drain.
- Saute carrots and onion in oleo until tender.
- Stir in turnips, salt, pepper and parsley.
- Cook, turning frequently, to well heated, 5 to 10 minutes.
