Ingredients

  • 32 ounce. Prego with mushrooms
  • 8 ounce. tomato sauce
  • 6 ounce. tomato paste
  • 3/4 c. sliced mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon dry basil
  • Grnd turkey
  • Salt and pepper
  • Lasagna noodles (12)
  • 1 1/2 c. minced fresh spinach
  • 6 ounce. Light & Lively brand cottage cheese
  • 24 ounce. low moisture part-skim shredded Mozzarella

Method

  • In a large non-reactive saucepan combine Prego, tomato sauce, tomato paste, mushrooms and basil.
  • Cook over low heat.
  • In a skillet cook grnd turkey, drain and chop.
  • Salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add in turkey to sauce and cook over low heat for 1 hour.
  • While sauce is cooking, prepare lasagna noodles as directed on package.
  • Drain noodles.
  • In a lasagna pan put a layer of sauce on the bottom.
  • Layer noodles, spinach, cottage cheese, Mozzarella and sauce.
  • Repeat layers 3 times.
  • On top noodle layer sauce and Mozzarella.
  • Bake at 350 degrees uncovered for 45 min.
