Ingredients

  • 2 lb. large mushrooms
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 c. onions, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. parsley, minced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 3/4 c. olive oil

Method

  • Wash mushrooms.
  • Remove stems, chop.
  • Mix chopped stems with cheese, bread crumbs, onions, garlic, parsley, salt, pepper and oregano.
  • Stuff mixture in mushroom caps.
  • Pour a little olive oil onto a baking pan.
  • Arrange the mushrooms in oil.
  • Pour the remaining oil over mushrooms.
  • Bake in a 350° oven for 25 minutes. Serves 6 to 8 people.
