- 8 oz. uncooked noodles
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 (10 1/2 oz.) cans Cheddar cheese soup
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. chopped pimento
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 (6 1/2 to 7 oz.) cans tuna
- 1 c. bread crumbs
Method
- Cook noodles; drain.
- Melt shortening in large skillet; add onion and
- green
- pepper
- and
- cook until tender.
- Stir in soup, milk, pimento,
- salt
- and pepper.
- Bring to a boil.
- Add cooked noodles and flaked tuna.
- Mix well and put in 1 1/2 or 2 quart casserole. Sprinkle
- with bread
- crumbs
- and bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Serves 12.
