Ingredients
- 2 small onions, chopped
- 2 c. water
- 2 (7 oz.) cans tuna, drained
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 c. celery, diced
- 2 cans cream of chicken
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. egg noodles, cooked
- 6 slices American cheese
Method
- Add onion and celery to 2 cups water in large saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat until tender.
- Add soup, tuna, salt and pepper; simmer.
- Combine cooked noodles and tuna mixture in a 4-quart casserole dish.
- Top with cheese and bake at 350° for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Serves 6 to 8.
