Ingredients
- 1 20 oz. can crushed tomatoes
- 1 c. rice
- 1/2 lb. salt pork
- 1 medium onion
- 8 beef bouillon cubes
Method
- Cut salt pork into cubes and saute with chopped onion.
- Add crushed tomatoes and 4 cans of water.
- Add beef bouillon cubes. Bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat and cook for about 10 minutes.
- Return to gentle boil and add rice.
- Simmer for just a little while.
