Ingredients

  • 1/3 c. olive oil or vegetable oil
  • 3/4 c. finely chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (14 oz.) chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dried basil leaves
  • 1 1/2 tsp. seafood seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
  • 1 (28 oz.) can whole plum tomatoes, undrained and finely chopped
  • 1 (6 oz.) can drained crabmeat
  • 1 lb. fresh scallops, drained

Method

  • Over medium heat, heat oil.
  • Add onion; cook until soft for 2 minutes.
  • Add garlic; cook abut 1 minute.
  • Add chicken broth and seasonings.
  • Heat to boiling; cook 1 minute.
  • Add tomatoes with juice; return to boiling.
  • Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add crabmeat and scallops.
  • Cover and cook until scallops are tender.
  • Serve over pasta.
