Ingredients
- 8 qt. popped corn
- 3 c. brown sugar
- 2 sticks margarine
- 3/4 c. white syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. butter or vanilla flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 2 c. peanuts (optional)
Method
- Combine all ingredients except peanuts, corn and soda.
- Bring to a boil; boil 2 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add soda.
- Pour over corn and peanuts; stir well.
- Bake in 250° oven for 1 hour. Stir every 15 minutes.
- After cooled, store in airtight container. Keeps well.
