Ingredients

  • 2 sticks oleo or butter
  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 3 c. cake flour (I prefer Swans Down)
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 3/4 c. coconut
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 1 tsp. coconut extract
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract

Method

  • Cream together oleo or butter and Crisco.
  • Add sugar.
  • Mix well and add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
  • Add sour cream, cake flour, baking soda, coconut, almond extract, coconut extract and vanilla extract.
  • Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 325° in tube pan.
