Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 3 Tbsp. margarine
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
  • 1 (8 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 (2 oz.) jar chopped pimentos, drained
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 c. cottage cheese
  • 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 c. buttered bread crumbs

Method

  • In a skillet, saute onion and green pepper in margarine until tender.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in soup, mushrooms and pimentos. Set aside.
  • In large bowl, combine noodles, chicken and sauces and mix well.
  • Pour in greased 13 x
  • 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
  • Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with bread crumbs and bake 15 minutes longer.
