Ingredients
- 3/4 c. Crisco (butter flavor)
- 1 1/4 c. light brown sugar, packed
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 egg
- 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 c. pecan pieces
Method
- Combine Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl. Beat with electric mixer at medium speed until creamy.
- Beat egg into creamed mixture.
- Combine flour and baking soda to creamed mixture until blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
- Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375° for 8 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 11 to 13 minutes for crisp cookies.
- Cool on baking sheet for 2 minutes.
- Move to cooling rack.
