Ingredients

  • 4 lb. meaty pork spareribs, sawed in half across bones
  • 1/2 c. soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. ground ginger
  • 2 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper

Method

  • Cut meat into 2 rib portions.
  • For marinade, mix soy sauce, oil, lemon juice, brown sugar, garlic, ginger and 1/4 teaspoon pepper.
  • Place ribs in a shallow baking dish.
  • Pour marinade over. Cover.
  • Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours, occasionally spooning marinade over.
