Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons mirin
  • 3 tablespoons seasoned rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly grated ginger root*
  • 2 tablespoons Land O Lakes Butter
  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 (14- to 15-ounce) can baby corn, drained, cut in half
  • 1 pound beef stir-fry strips
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 4 cups hot cooked rice

Method

  • Combine all teriyaki glaze ingredients in 1 1/2-quart saucepan; cook over medium heat 5-6 minutes or until liquid is reduced to thick paste.
  • Set aside.
  • Melt butter in 12-inch skillet until sizzling; add broccoli and baby corn.
  • Cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, 3-4 minutes or until broccoli is crisply tender.
  • Add beef and sesame seeds; cook, stirring occasionally, 4-5 minutes until beef is browned.
  • Drain, if necessary.
  • Stir in teriyaki glaze until vegetables and beef are coated.
  • Serve with hot cooked rice.
  • *Substitute 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger.
