- 1 fresh pineapple
- 2 lbs. top round steak
- 1/3 c. cream sherry
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1/2 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 pt. cherry tomatoes
- 8 green onions, cut in 3 inch pcs
Method
- Peel and cut pineapple into chunks.
- Pierce steak with fork and cut into 1 1/2 inch cubes.
- Blend together sherry, honey, soy sauce, ginger and garlic.
- In tall narrow bowl, combine pineapple and steak and teriyaki sauce, cover and let stand 15 to 20 min.
- The pineapple will tenderize the meat.
- Skewer pineapple, steak, bell pepper, tomatoes and onions.
- Broil 12 min about 6 inches from heat.
- Baste with teriyaki sauce.
