Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 stick butter
Method
- Melt butter.
- Stir sugar, butter and shortening together.
- Add vanilla, egg and flour.
- Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 400° until bottom of cookies are brown.
